Artists and Companies may submit applications for the 11th FICC – International Circus Festival of Ceará, proposing shows, acts, performances, and workshops, from June 20 to July 20, 2025.
The 11th FICC - Ceará International Circus Festival values diversity, inclusion, and accessibility: it accepts proposals from all corners of the world and every region of Brazil, featuring street performers, bicycle travelers, traveling families, and people with disabilities (PWDs). This plurality enriches the program and reinforces the festival's commitment to making space for all voices and circus expressions.
The 11th FICC opens free registrations for shows, acts, performances, and workshops, aimed at artists, groups, troupes, collectives, and circus companies from all over Brazil and abroad. The initiative seeks to broaden participation and celebrate artistic diversity, strengthening cultural exchange in the circus world.
We accept submissions for shows, acts, and circus performances, as well as educational proposals such as workshops, courses, and artistic or technical seminars, plus book and article launches.
Open to independent artists, collectives, and cultural institutions, with or without a CNPJ (Brazilian tax ID). Informal groups may apply represented by a member, but if selected, they must designate a Brazilian legal entity to represent them for contract and payment purposes.
Registrations will be open from June 20 to July 20, 2025, exclusively on this website. The deadline ends at 11:59 PM on the final day.
The selection of proposals will consider quality, innovation, the artists' experience, technical and budgetary feasibility, as well as dialogue with the local scene and adaptation to the available spaces.
The results will be published in September 2025 on the FICC website, and the curatorship may request additional information during the selection process.
The Festival provides technical infrastructure, transportation, accommodation, and meals for artists from other cities, states, and countries, in addition to remuneration via a contract with an invoice.
Selected artists must fulfill the project as agreed, manage their own materials and transportation, participate in promotion, and complete all required documentation (including DRT and permits for minors).
Fees are indicated in the application and negotiated during the selection process, with payment via contract (PJ/MEI). Foreign artists require representation by a Brazilian company.
Copyright and image declarations are mandatory. The production team and sponsors may record and promote the shows, provided it is for non-commercial purposes.
