12 years celebrating

the art of the circus

The Ceará International Circus Festival is organised by Iluminura Produtora Cultural and has established itself as one of the leading contemporary circus events in Latin America.

Since its first edition, the festival has promoted the circulation of artists, the development of new talent and dialogue between circus traditions and contemporary forms of expression, always with a strong focus on the culture of Ceará and the Northeast.

The 12th edition, in November 2026, promises to bring together artists from Brazil and abroad in a programme that celebrates diversity, inclusion and artistic excellence.

Join us for the 12th edition

Artists, groups, companies, troupes and collectives from Brazil and abroad are invited to submit proposals for shows, acts, performances and workshops.

Individual or group circus performers, of all disciplines and styles, from Brazil or abroad.

The applicant specifies the fee for 1, 2, 3 or more performances on the form.

To sign up, you must have a valid CNPJ number. Individuals may register, but will need to regularise their status.

Please enter your departure point on the form. This information will be taken into account when arranging transport.

Inclusive support

We offer personalised support for artists who have difficulty writing or accessing digital resources.
Submission does not guarantee participation in the festival. All proposals will be reviewed by the curatorial team. The results will be announced by 30 August 2026.

Realization of the Festival
12th Ceará International Circus Festival in Fortaleza, featuring shows, workshops and public performances.

This is an initiative of the Brazilian Government, through the Ministry of Culture via the National Aldir Blanc Policy and the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive (Rouanet Law). Sponsored by Vale, with support from the Government of Ceará through the Secretariat of Culture via the 1st Call for Scheduled Cultural Festivals. FICC is part of the Ceará Art and Culture Festival Network.
